I would not spend $300 on a Lingenfelter either. I think the best driveshafts out there are made by Spohn, Mark Williams, Denny's driveshaft and Dynatech.

For the price, I'd say get the revised LT4 unit ($199). If you really want heavy duty, go with the spohn unit ($325). Either of these is more than strong enough to handle the power level you specified. The LS1 shaft can be found cheaper, but may not hold up to hard launches with that power level.
