driveshaft wobble

driveshaft wobble

i have the stock steel driveshaft in my 95 lt1, at it wobbles really bad on the highyway at about 90, does it hurt to take it the the 1/4. i have ran it once and taken it up to 102, but it wobbles bad, should i buy an aluminum one before i take it to the strip again

All stock steel shafts do that. I run fine with mine. You can get a balanced LS1 or 1LE driveshaft but IMO its not worth it. Plenty of guys still run their stock steel shaft. If you do decide to go Al, get the 1LE, its supposed to be stronger than the LS1 shaft which is more prone to being twisted up. For the "gain" if any, I say stick to your stock shaft.
