Driveshaft Universal Symptoms

Last night I started hearing this weird on/off noise (consistant) like on the passenger rear while i was on the highway, today when i start from a stop or change direction (forward/backward, vice versa) i hear a click/clunk....Does it sound like my universals are going?

yeah id say your on the right track but it could also be slack in the rear end. but most likey the u joints. just pp off the ds and see how much slack is in them.

if you find out that is it then i would buy a aluminum ds off the board for about 150, thats what i paid for my 1le on the board, because new u jount cost about 30 and that is if you put them in yourself. i know someone that has one right now search aggiez28 his real nme is brook. good seller bought a couple of things off him

Yeah if it's the driveshaft that's the issue (ujoints) I'm just gonna upgrade to 1LE or Aluminum. Thanks for the info guys. Anyone else is still welcome to put in their two cents.

I will.

Once I had my torque arm get loose on my thirdgen...everytime i took off it banged into hte floorpan. This isn't the case this time.

Plus it causes an on/off vibration at speeds 60mph+. Just everything seems to be pointing driveshaft.
