head

I was wondering how hard it is to take the driver side head off a 95 camaro z28 i broke two header bolts inside and none are sticking out to where i cant get them out. Would i have to take the intake manafold out to do this or could i just leave it on there its just the driverside i want to just swap the head out with a stock one please let me know.

Its relatively straight forward. You will have to pull the intake manifold. Good thing is you can leave everything on it. Going to have to remove some of the stuff on the front of the motor like the water pump but it's all easy to do if you are mechanically inclined.

The water pump doesn't need to come off to pull the head.

Are you sure? Could have swore there was an accy bracket.... maybe it's to take the passenger side head off.... Hell it's been a while.

The water pump isn't connected to an accy bracket.
