Drag Radials...what can I expect?

Ive been trying to decide what to purchase before next season, and I think its time to put some more power to the ground...but Im just curious as to what kind of gains in E.T. I can expect. My best trap speed to date is 104 mph...at 13.7 in the 1/4 mile. With some drag radials and a nice line-lock to get them sticky...any predictions on what I might run?

One more thing...my 60' times have all been pretty bad...average 2.2 to 2.4

What's your current 60ft? It sounds like you have some nice hp to get the high trap speeds but only running a 13.7 you need some traction to get your 60ft down. You will definately see an improvement but without more information it's hard to tell you what gains to possibly expect. I'd say 2-3 tenths though as just a guess.

My 60 foot time on the 13.7 run was 2.4...pretty pathetic, I know. Any ideas?

well for every tenth you shave off your 60, youll shave slightly more then that off your end time.

well im running a 13.3 @ 104 with a 2.0 60ft on street tires. so basically if you were cutting 2.0 60fts right now, you could be running 13.3's.... hell with drag radials and good driving you should be able to hit some 1.7 or 1.8 60ft's and bring it down close to the 12's... thats my goal.

just know that when your trying to get better et's, its all about the 60ft times... bring them down and you will see low 13's easy. good luck.

With 2.2-2.4 60 foots, I dont see why you cant knock off .4-.5 tenths.

I'd say you really should be around a 13.1 but I cant see you dropping 6 tenths. I just ran a 13.51 at 101.8 on crappy Kumhos with a 2.0 60 ft time. With the BFG Drag Radials my ET was a 13.4 at 102 with a 1.9 60 ft time. In cooler weather I think I could have pulled even a better time.

I've pulled 1.5x 60' times with 275/50 - 15 BFG drag radials.
