Drag Radials

Assuming I get a decent torque converter, what are the best (reasonably priced, under $200 each) drag radials available. I was thinking the BF Goodrich Drag Comp TAs but some people tell me the Nittos are the way to go. Any experience would be helpful.

Thanks

If you run a serch I am pretty sure they both fare about the same on the street. However at the track is where the BFGs really shine. I chose the Nittos because they last longer.

I chose the Nitto 555R's , Hook-up really well ......... good enough to trash a 10-bolt

I was browsing through one of the performance magazines a few days ago in a store. They actually ran the BFG and the Nitto for comparison. Their conclusion was that the BFG launched ever so slightly better but the Nitto was ever so slightly better on the top end.

So it's up to you to decide which you prefer.

I don't remember which mag it was, but it was one of those stories that they advertise on the cover. So drop by anywhere that sells car magazines and I'm sure you can check it out.

I have found this to be true. The BFG's like less air and hook a tad better. The Nitto's like more air and give a better mph.

Question

Should I be worried about toasting my stock rear end with a set of Nittos? I plan to put them on the back of my new wheels.
