I just put passenger side back together and everything is not torqued up yet but it is snugged down, the car is still on 4 jack stands. I put a jack under the lower control arm and jacked it up and the whole car came up off the jackstand as soon as I got up under the arm, in other words the suspension is so stiff it is not compressing at all, or I have done something wrong.
Anyone installed an Eibach Drag Launch kit and Energy suspension poly bushings and had the car this stiff?
I have KYB AGX shocks and they are set on 1 the softest setting.
shouldn,t I get some bounce? or do I need to get the other side done and get it on the ground before I make any assumptions?

 

hey man i got intrax 2" lowering springs and kyb gas shocks all around i took out my bump stopps for more travel but it rides terrible. but i could care less about the ride. i did these mods for good handling, good looks and good traction. when i hit a bump the car does not absorbe anything but i dont care and no offense but i dont think you should either. if your looking for traction which i think you are because you have drag launch coils then the ride should not be very important. good traction is the key to racing and you probably got it. the only thing i can sugest is play around with your shock settings because softest may not always be the best, and maybe you could look into some polyurathane bushing and softer bump stops, good luck.

 

I have all poly in the front end, and I don,t care about ride as long as it hooks.
I am afraid it is locked and the suspension won,t travel at all, know what I mean?
It is STIFF. I can,t get it too travel at all when I put all my weight on it (220lbs)

 

Has anyone done a Drag Launch kit that could help me out with this?
Nothing seems to be binding up, can it really be this stiff?

 

get the other side done and get it on the ground. it will sit alittle higher.
