I just wanted to ask ion & others if this is normal.
i had a 3.42 gear installed from the stock 2.73. Had ion do the performance tunning , he did a great job.

now for the question. it seemd when I'm coasting from 30 mph
to a stop
i can feel the transmission down shifting, like a little thud, if thats the best way to describe it, its ok up shifting, I was just wondering if this normal for this tall of a gear and i did have ion adjust the shift points on the trans to match the gear.

i did not have any programing done for shift firmness.
car rides great, i just don't know if this is normal for what i had done?

I have been in a car and felt the auto tranny downshift however, it was not an LT1 car. Any auto tranny will downshift on decel though, it has to when the rpm's drop too low for the gear its in.
