Doing a Torque Converter, Stall Speed

I need to quit wasting my time and just get in to it with this car, headers are going in and so is a converter. I'm thinking Midwest Lock up at about a 2.5STR, cars daily drivien, freeway, city and just about every thing in between. Will a 3200 stall be tomuch in it? I was thinking 2800 but Derek told me I would be regreting it if I did.

Their seems to be a problem with some OBD1 car like ours. Some OBD1 cars with over 3000 convertors will not shift gears during wide open throttle. 2800 would be a good convertor anyway. Don't listen to that punk unless he has a 93-94 LT1 car. I would get some 3.42 or 3.73 gears first though.

Well I have a 700R4, not a 4L60E, I heard about the not shifting on 94-95s. I really like my 3.23s, great for High way use, gear installs are so expensive though.
