Doing header install tomorrow any words of wisdom or a simple good luck.

I also solved my manifold/head bolt problem found a little cheater bar that has loosened all the drivers side bolts.

Make sure the car is pretty high in the air, makes life a little easier. If you have headers with the collectors already attached then you'll most likely install both sides from underneath the car I believe. My dynatechs came with slip on collectors so I could get the driver side in from the top and the passenger side I think I had to do from the bottom, I don't remember exactly. Oh yeah, be patient, it can get a little frustrating at times.

Take your time and do yourself a favor, relocate or put heat wrap on anything that will get close to header heat. I tried to do most of mine with the manifolds removed and the headers waiting to go in . It will make life easier on you.
I had to lengthen and relocate my starter wires, knock sensor wire, ground wire, ABS wires, O2 sensor wires, and the #1 primary was really close to my brake lines so I removed the heat shield and coated the inside with heat tape and reformed it a bit with a hammer. Cruise control cable needs to go behind that shield as well.
Headers themselves were not that bad, I had to remove the oil filter, and the steering linkage to get the drivers side in.
Passenger side went right in after starter was pulled (I had my A4 removed for a rebuild so keep that in mind)
Basically you might want to check all these things you might not have to do some of them and there are other things you might have to do that I did not. Every car seems to be different when it comes to headers.

Good Luck and take your time.

Take your time, have a friend to help if possible... It will make it easier to handle the headers but also to have someone to get you tools saves a lot of time. Oh yea...dont get frustrated when your taking twice as long as you thought it would. Its not that bad, just time consuming on these cars.
