Doesn't this defeat the purpose of having a 58mm TB?

Doesn't this defeat the purpose of having a 58mm TB?

I just saw this on EBay and i didn't really see the point of it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/58MM-...92644544QQrdZ1

I don't see how you can gain anything having a 58mm TB but the intake bores at 52.

Ya...i think that would be about the same thing as just putting the 58 tb on with out boring out the holes.

They'll think of anything to make money...i still like the tb bypass kit that one always cracks me up.

It is tapered so I think it would be better than bolting it on without porting but still not great, certainly not worth the effort or expense.
