I finally got the car started after I read that flooring the pedal while starting the car puts it in flood clear mode. Tons of smoke blew out of the exhaust and it ran pretty good I thought at all rpms up to 3k (didnt rev any higher than that) but it would not idle, it'd just quit. I'd have to floor the pedal to get if I started it again. Would this be a sign of fouled o2 sensors? I just swapped the plugs before I got it started so it's not those.

 

make sure you dont have your plug wires crossed. i double checked mine and i still had 2 crossed. caused similiar problems.
