Does non mandrel pipes make that much of a difference?

Does non mandrel pipes make that much of a difference?

I have heard that you really dont need 3'' mandrel bent pipe unless your pushing alot oh hp. If you had 3'' pipe that wasnt mandrel bent on a car that had about 385hp would it make a huge difference? Plus there is a straight through bullet muffler.

My friend Al gained 40wrhp out of going with mandrel and ditching his shop bent dual exhaust.. But he's pushing a lot of power. 665 wrhp to 707 wrhp or something like that.

Try and do it right the first time if u can. If you have under 350wrhp it probably wouldnt matter that much at all.

Thats what Ive heard. Unless you have a ton oh hp mandrel bent pipe doesnt really mean that much. As long as its 3'' then you should be ok until you get to the 4-500rwhp range.
