Question Does it hurt to leave the cut-out open all day and night?

I am wondering about this......... everytime I have this cap off, something goes wrong with my car! Is this me or my imagination?
It never fails.... EVERYTIME it is off, something happens. Is it that air is getting up in there or what, cant be cold air here in Texas either.

I leave mine off for days at a time when I'm to lazy to go under and re-cap it.... no problems here.

When I had my cutout, I had the cap on a total of 3 times... in about 2 years... NEVER had an issue.

I love to scare the living shi'ite out of people when i roll by...lay on the gas right when you pull up to someone walking...

Even on the highway...roll next to someone and hit it before they can see your car coming up...

Best $40 ever spent...YIPEE!

Yea I've had people jump away from the street after I roll by and rev on them....and people just about break their necks when they turn to see what's making that "UNGODLY" sound on the highway...

haha

You can get one custom made...which is what I did...and save money on shipping...

Just consult your local muffler shop and ask if they can make you a custom cutout...with mine they had to do it after the cat because of space issues...but if you have long tubes you can have it before the cat....and I'm sure that you can find a way to fit a cutout before the cat without having long tubes...

You get the idea...I only paid $40 total for mine....and that included installation...
