I've been searching around and found an obd1/obd2 scanner for $280. I wanna use it to see if I can find out where my rough idle when its hot/flutter and hesitation during part throttle. I would go ahead and replace the opti but I would like to pinpoint where it is coming from. Here is the link, let me know what you think about it.

If you have a laptop it would be cheaper and more convenient to just buy a cable from akmcables and hook your laptop up to your car using freescan or datamaster or something like that

 

Have you ever looked at your EGR valve?

How about testing the TPS?
