Thumbs up

Lots of people on here run em, I personally don't but my car came with a Callaway that the previous owner put on.

Basically all CAI's are created = from a performance standpoint.

I've got it. I did notice a SOTP difference after installing it, and it sounds cool as hell too. I did install my cat-back around the same time, so they both were probably what I was feeling, but oh well. It's the best looking CAI you can get, IMO.

Yeah, mine was a pain to put in. I think I dented the metal screen on the filters in the process, but I finally got it. Someday I'll get new filters and put them on from the bottom.

i have te chrome one, and it rocks. nothing but compliments. looks and sounds great, crisp throttle response, and faster revs. all that for 200 bucks, plus i get better mileage.

Seems a little pricey for a CAI. I only paid 10 bucks less, but for how much power you get out of them...10 bucks is a lot. I went with Moroso, one of the best i think, looks good too. If you have that as your only mod, you won't notice much but the sound. If you start modding a lot more and take the CAI off, you will really notice how much it really did. It is a very good mod to do.

well, i bought it used for only 80. plus shipping. so for that price, the benefits are awesome. if you look on ebay, you may find a better deal, i know i did. or look in the for sale section.

you could also post in the wanted section.

the filters that come with the cai are not the regular k&n filters, they are paper, so buying one used may actually be a better route.

I have one and it looks very good and as far as power they are all pretty close to one another.
