Does the AIR Pump Ever turn off?

I was wondering about this because first, calibration wise it can only be deactivated, but there don't appear to be any parameters for any duty cycle or anything similar.

Its controlled by a relay, so a duty cycle would burn the relay. But I am wondering if there is a window for when the computer applies ground to it.

Thanks

The length of time varies by cold the engine is, but it never runs more than 3 - 3-1/2 minutes after startup.
