Do you bleed ABS with the car running?
Do you bleed ABS with the car running?
All i get is air out of the abs bleeder valves when the cars off...
All air is out of the brake lines... Bleed back to front with the car off...
Do i need to have the car runnign to bleed the abs module under the hood??

no, the car should bleed with the car off.
this is a two person job in most respects, but there are somethings out there that will allows you to do it one person.
anyways. always go from the furthest point from the brake booster.
start at the back right, then back left, then front right, and finally front left.
have someone pump the brakes up 4 times or so and hold the brake down on the final pump. then open the bleeder valveabout a quarer of a turn. this will release the brake fluid out of the port. i normally do it twice per wheel.
anyways just work around the car in that order. make sure if you dont use a tube over the ports, to get something to clean fluid up.
