do u guys know what my powerband is??

im not sure what my powerband is what should i b shifting at n my car??? i think thats y my times r so ****ty i was shifting at 6200 or so and ppl r sayin i should b shifting at 5000, im not sure what to do, i got a 94 camaro z28 so any info would b good thanks

5800 is probably your best bet for a stock car. I wouldn't go over 6000 on the stock valvetrain, it's pushing it a little. Peak hp is at 5200 for a stock car.

Every car is different though, so just use 5800 as a starting point and deviate a little to see what will give you the best times. Every mod you make to your car will most likely make it so you'll want to shift a little higher.

Very interesting question. I've the same thoughts for a question. My car will pull good to 6100-6200rpm also in stock trim.
