Do these 1/4mi times sound normal?

'95LT1, mods in sig. Street tiers and a good burnout. Still need traction. My best run today at about 65 degrees and elevation around 3000, I was told, but not sure.

r/t .631
60' 2.148
1/8 8.985 @79.85
1000' 11.642
1/4 13.856@101.98

What does everybody think? I'm happy, they are much quicker than my old times.

Your MPH isnt bad for high elevation. I would be interested to see how much a cutout helps you. Lately I have been hearing that the Flowmaster catbacks dont actually flow as much as many other ones do.

I have dual 3" cutouts. One off of each collector. Basically open headers. I made one run with full exhaust, and lost 1mph.

Not bad for that elevation, get some traction and lower that 60' you should pick up 2 or 3 tenths with some tires

what track did u run at??

i ran my Z28 at dolaca (around 3200 ft or so) came out w/ these numbers
2.14 60'
13.94 @ 99 mph
this was with all the mods listed below except all motor.

i ran those numbers in bad conditions (6200 DA)
so i hope for better times soon.

with yours mods, u should be able to do better with some traction...i would say mid 13.6Xs at a sea level track, maybe more, if u can hook up!

Wall is a good track...u HAVE the mph, u just need to hook up. Get some kind of drag radials at the least, or some ET Streets. I would say with ET streets, u could get u a sub 1 second 60' and prolly a 13.60-13.70. just my 2 cents.

Holy crap I want a sub 1 second 60' lets see a sub 1 sec 60' would be what 5's or 6's at the 1320' that would be way cool for a 4th gen daily driver

I ran a 13.6 @ 103 w/ 2.0 short time... This is with stock manifolds... Just a Borla, K&N CAI, 4.10's and a ripper shifter...

This is also @ 3600 ft. elevation...

If I had long tubes I would expect a mid to low 13 second ride, even at that high elevation.

My car is damn light tho, only weighing slightly over 3000 lb's...
All in all, your times are somewhat decent... I would think the car should be a low 13 second ride however, even at that elevation

Hey Josh it was nice to meet you, In fact the air was really horrible that day. The corrected DA was just over 5200, so that should tell you that your power is there. You gotta ditch those Goodyears though and get some meats out back.

Are you going to SLP day this Saturday at Ennis? A bunch of the Abilene guys and myself will be going. Its a big event, will be lots of fun.

Bobby S.

PS I love the way your car sounded when it grabbed 2nd. Fuggin mean man, fuggin mean.

I think that sucks that 3k feet does that.. Im at 660' i think and mph is 1 less than yours and .1 second slower stock.. Im happy i live in a low elevations.. Sounds good though.. just get her to hook up. That was my problem 2.2 60'. I would have loved to see what i would have ran with a good 60'. I think i had a quick car from the factory.

the DA has everything to do with your quarter mile performance....my car went a 14.01 w/ 2.73s, cutout, and K&N FIPK on a cold night with 2600 DA......last saturday it went 13.94 w/ the same setup, but 3.42s and Nittos....at 6200 DA.
