Do Street Twins wear out?

Ive heard guys tell me, "spend more now................. itll be the last clutch you'll ever buy!"

Are they saying that they will never wear out, or that they just will be able to handle the power?

I'm about to buy a used one, and i dont know the mileage on it.

-Thanks

RYan

It will wear out. Everything wears out, its just that you can send it back to Mcleod and they rebuild it. Hence, "the last clutch you ever buy".

I'd say several 10Ks of miles, no problems.

I'm around 10K miles on mine and it still drives/holds like new.
