do the stock springs have a lil inner spring thing?
do the stock springs have a lil inner spring thing?
The springs on my stock heads (i think) that i'm selling have springs w/ a lil inner spring like thing and was wondering if thats how all stock ones come, thinking maybe they will be able to sell better if they already have upgraded springs?
Re: do the stock springs have a lil inner spring thing?
All three sets of stock heads that I have had were equiped with single coil valve springs. To get any more money for having aftermarket dual coil valve springs on there, you will need to know the specs on them. People are going to want to know and if that info is not known, then the buyer will pretty much count on them not being right for their combo and not give any extra money.

yea they have that flat wound thing in the middle, i dont know why im not getting any emails about this thread even though im subscribed to it, but anyways, are they stock or does anyone know who makes them with the dampner in the middle?

I may be suffering from sometimers, but I believe my stock springs DID have dampers. I swithced them out for some single coil REV springs for my small cam.
So I guess I am going with the guys who said "yes" the stockers had dampers.
