I have the Gm ac delete pulley and I had to get a shorter belt (it seems the later year lt1s need a shorter belt).

Well I just got one of them. My motor is out right now and I put it on. The problem is that it goes back too far. You need to get some washers and space it out actualy. I'll let you guys know how it works, but thats what I have done.

Many companies make them for people that do not want to spend the money on an a/c system when the compressor seizes. I have sold quite a bit of them at my shop. Dorman is my supplier, and has probally about 100 different applications.

My GM factory 1LE AC delete pulley purchased directly from a dealership required a shorter belt. What's the big deal?

I have the same AC delete pulley off Ebay with no problems..
