do I need to worry about pushrod length when installing impala head gaskets?

I am doing a rebuild on my lt1 and going with a lt4 head and intake. I am also using the inpala gaskets which are .020 thinner than stock gaskets, do I need to worry about the pushrod lenghts or are the standard size ok to use?

I am looking at a set of comp cam pushrods and want to make sure I use the the right lengths. The ones I am looking at are 7.200" long.

Thanks
John

Summit sells various pushrod length checkers. I bought a "Trick Flow" brand one for 12 bucks. 7.200 is stock.

FWIW, i run impala head gasket, stock aluminum lt1 heads, xe224/230 cam, 1.6 SA rr, and i used the stock 7.20 pushrod.

but to be sure use a pushrod checker....

What Jesse said.

If its .020 shorter than going to a 7.150 pushrod would be to short. Most likely staying stock is correct, but id get a checker to make sure.
