Do i need to replace my slave/master cylinder when installing a new clutch?
I Called SLP today to order one of their clutches and the guy on the phone told me i should replace the slave and master cylinder with a new GM one. Is this a absolute must? He said i run a risk of it sticking and wearing out the disk prematurely. I just got done putting my used one on. It will be thoroughly bled and all before i use the clutch. Anyone had a problem with this happening?

When I replaced my clutch I was having problems with some slippage. So I then replaced my clutch master/slave cylinder. The problem was helped but not solved.
After a good day of abuse at the track, the clutch started working perfectly and has ever since.
So basically after all this rambling.... I don't have a good answer for you.
I know most people do not replace it with a new clutch.
