Do I need the front O2 sensors?

I already have the rear O2's PCM deleted. I'm going to order some LT's for my 97 and I was wondering what I should do about the front O2's. I'd prefer to just leave them unhooked if possible.

Thanks in advance!

Yeah, you need the front ones for proper fuel management.

The front O2s are what make fuel injection work so well, without them you migh just as well run a carb, they are what tells the pcm wether it is rich or lean so it can adjust accordingly.

If you remove them completely from a OBD I car it will suck down gas like ther is no tomorrow. An OBD II car will know there is something wrong and limit how much gas it eats, but it won't run right and will loose power.

You can install the O2 sensors in the header collectors even if you don't have cats installed. It will never pass emissions though if you have them in your area.

Well, it will certainly run without them working, but I can't imagine how there is efficient fuel management without them.

Once upon a time long ago... I had a ful ltank of gas... I ran my car with no 02 sensors on her at all.... so my car sat on jack stands... I turned my car on only 3 times.... THREE Times... sometimes I'd let it idle for 5 minutes... sometimes I just turn her on and then off.... then all of a sudden... my Needle was on top of the E ..... WTF??? I was baffled indeed.... Another Case for Mulder and Skully.
