Do I need to Change my Oil Again?
I only drive my car in the summer and last summer I put on about 2000Km.
I changed my oil at the begining of last season with Mobil 1 Synthetic.
Since I drove such a small amount, shouldn't the oil be good for another season? It is synthetic after all.
This would mean changing the oil only once every other year...........that doesn't sound good, but with such little use................

Even though you only put 2000km on it a year I would still change it once a year. Almost all car manufacturers mention changing your oil after xxx number of miles or once per year. I'm no oil expert but it's not good from what I hear to let oil sit in the crankcase that long without being run. Acids and other bad things can build up which are not good for the motor.
