Unplug C100. In the connector toward the front of the car touch a temporary ground to the green wire in cavity J. Both fans should operate at low speed.

While keeping the green wire grounded, also ground the blue wire in cavity H. Both high speed fans should now be running. If so, you are good from that point, through the relays and fans.

ok i did this and they work fine so am i looking at an ecm problem? as they still dont come on on high with temp or a/c ??

What you need to do is observe scan data to see if the fans are being commanded on. A ground is output on those green and blue wires to operate the relays for proper fan speeds. Low fans don't come on until 226%u00B0 and if your a/c system is not operational (like low on charge), they won't come on with the a/c setting. Of course, you can always inspect the connection at C100 and the wires back to the PCM. PCMs rarely go bad, but there are always exceptions.

ok i can manually get fans to come on with scanner but no turn on with temp car read 235 degrees on scanner and no high speed fan

Sounds like it's time to pull the tune and see where the fans are set to activate.

Re: do i need a bigger radiator?

i think I've narrowed it down to the ecm it is not putting out a high speed fan signal on its own got good signal coming in from ect sensor but nothing coming out on the blue wire in that connector now its a matter of where to get an ecm
junk yard want $100 and autozone wants $113 so do i get used original equipment or a remaned unit ?
