I'm just about ready to install a carsound cat in place of a MAC off road pipe I currently have on my car (moved to NY, need to pass inspection). The original cat and off road pipe were both supported to the frame by a muffler hanger type bracket located at the rear of the converter. I don't really have a way to attach it to my new converter, do I need to use this bracket or can I just bolt up the converter without it?
