Does anyone know how I can tell for sure weather I have an F-1 or not? Is there an RPO code for it? I have been trying to find out where some mods that I have on the car came from. I.E. Cat back with single side outs, hurst shifter, wheels and such. The person who owned the car prior to me was kind enough to keep all the reciepts in the owners manual for everything he ever did even when the tires were replaced and normal oil changes. None of those modes can be found on the reciepts. Then i found a web site http://www.ws6.com/faq/4_1.htm#ch4_1l. This gives a list of the F1 options.. Everything im trying to find out where came from is on the list, I have them all but the CAI and the Body kit. Can anyone else give a web site or some info on the F-1 option? Anyone know how many were produced in 97? Any info is greatly appreciated!

 

do you have stripes a body kit or a chrom cold air intake? if so then yes.

 

No those are the only options on the list that i dont have though. Hmm, well maybe the original buyer just ordered certain options. I'm just trying to find out the history of the car.

i looked around and only found the same thing you did i think your gonna have to go to a dealer and have them look up your vin and see if that tells ya.

 

The f-1 camaro I saw had the same stuff you listed, but it had a f-1Z28 in the back of it.
