Do hp numbers vary with DA?

It seems that people's track times vary depending on their altitude. I was wondering if you actually dyno less depending on what altitude you're at.

Actual numbers, yes. SAE correction will keep things fairly consistent though (within reason) when using corrected numbers.

www.slowgt.com Go to the racers math section. It has a horsepower vs. altitude calculator.

Being up high is kind of nice...lol not really, cause you're chances of breaking things and your need for bigger injectors, tb ect...goes down because your not making as much power.

But once i get my setup done i would like to take a long trip to a sea level track just for a nice timeslip.

Like said above though actuall hp varies but most people post sae which is corrected for altitude, temp, ect...
