All my other cars except the Z have a low fuel light.....I never see the light come on because I dont like running that low on fuel .....when the Z goes below 1/2 guage mark(really only about 1/4 tank left) I fill it up.....

Just remember that it doesn't cost any more to keep your tank full than to keep it near empty.

Once you wind up walking or buying a new fuel pump you will tumble onto this.

Been there.

What good is a low gas light..........its like a oil light......by the time it comes on its too late.

ha my buddy ran out in his camaro z28, my other buddy ran out in his v6 camaro, and my ex girlfriend ran out in her TA ....im the only survivor...but then again my guage works pretty good...after rollin on E for like 5-10 miles, i have 1-2 gallons left...

99 and up have it, 98 and before don't. I try to keep it full, it's ust not worth running it low. And on the 99 and ups, it tends to come on when it as about 3 gallons or so left, not quite too late, but when it comes on, you need to take care of it ASAP, as our fuel pumps are kept cool by gas in tank...

Wait until you start modifying it...you'll be watching the gauges more than you watch the road. Then you'll get used to it.
