Ever since I have installed these Accel injectors, the car has been running really rich. I have heard that Brian Herter of PCM4LESS won't even tune a car with Accel injectors. I have had a tune for the 30 lb. injectors but it still runs super rich. I know in my situation, the 30 lb. injectors are overkill but I occasionally run a dry shot so I wanted to make sure I had enough fuel for that.

 

I have a friend who hydrolocked his engine because 1 accel injector got stuck open and poured fuel into the cyl of his blown lt1

 

that is the rumor. My little brother is running 30lb svo red tops & cc306 (knock on wood) they are doing great. The car smells a little of gas, but anything that runs mid 12's is going to My old heads & cam camaro with stock injectors would burn your eyes if you were down wind.
so I belive you get what you pay for.

A couple of years ago, an individual in the injector sales business, stated to me, the injector company Accel bought out. This new acquisition became their (accel's) updated and new primary injector manufacurer/source. According to this individual their new source didn't maintain the quality control their previous source did. This source of info in the injector business, a source that handles (sells) most anything available if requested, basically told me he would not sell me Accel injectors due to warranty concerns, even if it meant a sale being put in jeopardy. Oh, and BTW, SVOs are rather inexpensive.
