Ditchin the Magnaflow for Loudmouth

I recently had a magnaflow muffler installed on my stock piping and it sounds pretty good but i want something a lil louder so i dont have to get on it to get recognized...will i notice a severe difference once i get the loudmouth on...by the way it is getting installed today or tomorrow...im just hoping it'll sound good and maybe somewhat of a performance gain

nooooooooooooooooooooooo you cant throw away the magnaflow!!!!! noooooooooooooooo naw im jus playing man thats cool its all up to you i hve had my magnaflow catback for about 2 months now and it is aweomse awesome! i love the way it sounds. its really deep. the loudmouth i have heard is pretty raspy and all. also if you decide to get headers, people said it gets really bad sounding. all the loudmouth is is two bullet mufflers in the pipes i think and no muffler thats why its louder. but props to you on your decision hope you like it! how much you pay for your muffler and how much you pay for your loudmouth? what are you going to do with the magnaflow? sell it?? how much??

Personally I would just had kept the Magnaflow. Loudmouth is the worst sounding exhaust you can put on your car. It makes your car sound like complete crap. Just my opinion though

I currently am running an ATR catback exhaust. I have heard Magnaflow and it sounds pretty good. Anything sounds better than LoudCrap. I have heard Loudcrap on different cars and all the cars seem to have something in common (sound like crap). Not trying to start a flame, just stating my opinion.

I've heard a couple as well, they are pretty loud. It's not a good sound to me either, just too noisy. There've been a few folks on here who get the LM only to come back a few months later looking for a recommendation on a muffler to weld in.

I think the Magnaflow, Corsa, ATR, Random Tech (I went with this one), and the other cat-backs with the 'straight through' muffler design sound the best (DEEP) and, of course, flow restriction is practically nil.

i think it will sound good...i plan on keeping stock manifolds.....i paid like 130-140 installed for the muffler ... i picked the loudmouth up for 100... i like the sound of the magnaflow but it just isnt agressive enough so i am going to ditch it...

check it out...the third car in this vid is a 97 TA with everything stock but the loudmouth...it sounds sick...

Same here man. I got it on my SS and I get nothing but looks and compliments. I don't know of much any other system that can outdo the Loudmouth for what it is and in price.

JUST MY OPINION!!! DON'T TAKE ME DOWN!!! If you keep the rest of your exhaust system stock, it'll sound bad ***

BUT!!!! If you get headers and a y-pipe(cat or ORY) it will start sound kinda raspy...and I'm not a big fan of raspy. But hey, if you are, GO FOR IT BRO!!!

heard its when you remove the cat that all hell breaks loose and you loose that beautiful LM sound. Hopefully I won't when I put my LTs in... if I do I won't be happy and will probably put some other 'muffler' on for some back pressure.

OH GOD ITS SICK....im glad i went with it...$100 for the loudmouth and $40 for the install kit...so 140 outta my pocket...and my pops didnt want me under the car so i got some guy that works with my mom to install it at his dads shop...and he charged like 40 which my dad will be pickin up...

i def think it was a good idea to ditch the magnaflow...it sounded good but only after like 2500...i dont even have to get into a powerband with the loudmouth and it is amazing...

i think i really need to do my wires and maybe my plugs and maybe even new cats.. because i was already gettin some rasp when i had the stock muffler on there...ha

at around 2,000 rpms my car sounds like a computer workin....all sorts of lil tiny pops and garble...nothin real loud but its there....just kinda pops here and there...but my loudmouth is in no way any raspier than my magnaflow...just sounds a hell of a lot louder and maybe even a lil deeper...

i actually think it sounds better than the $700 borla i heard the other day on a 97 ss...but hey..thats me ha

def buy the loudmouth if you are thinkin about it
