Discontinued AC Delete Pulley

it looks like the GM part is discontinued and pretty hard to find (at least in my last couple hours of searching). I've also read the Dorman is junk.

Is there any harm in just leaving the condenser there and unhooking everything? Other than weight, there isn't really any difference between the condenser spinning freely and the delete pulley is there?

In a related note. If anyone's sellin, I'm buyin.

I'm not sure if this is a Doorman product: 93-97 Camaro/Firebird V8 LT1 LT4 A/C Compressor Delete Pulley 1LE - Hawks Third Generation

Re: Discontinued AC Delete Pulley

You mean compressor...with no engagement, it's just an idler pulley, like the delete pulley.

Did you have any luck with this? I'm thinking of doing the same, but looking for more information.
