Disconected MAF and this happened.....
Chiltons Book
Emission Controls 4-11
it reads:
Poor engine idle, stalling and poor driveability can be caused by an inoperative canister purge solenoid, a damaged canister or split, damadaged or improperly connected hoses.
The most common sympton of problems in this system is fuel odors coming from under the hood. If there is no liquid fuel leak, check for a cracked or damaged vapor canister, inoperative or always open canister control valve, disconnected, misrouted, kinked or damaged vapor pipe or canister hoses.

Update: Update:
I tested the evaporative cannister vacum conection and there is no vacum leak.
Please note that when running on speed density my intake manifold vacum was reading 19 Hg. When I disconected the smog check valves at the exhaust manifolds and left then open to the air my engine vacum went up to 20hg. I then reconected my MAF and my vacum went up to 21 hg. I reconected the air pump hoses to the smog check valves and my vacum dropped to 20hg and steady.
Observation: On speed density engine smooth vacum lower
With MAf Connected not as smooth vacum higher
On each case when I left the smog check valves to
the atmosphere the engine vacum improved by
1hg and there was no visual change in the
smoothness of engine at idle.
Each time I pluged the smog check valves the
vacum dropped by 2hg.
The car must be possesed
It does the exact opposite
of what I expect her to do. I create a vacum leak at the manifolds and she vacum improves and she runs better. I reconnect the MAF and the engine gets better vacum but then it shakes... what gives?

Just to close this thread here is the fix to my problem.......
I changed the spark plugs. I brand spanking new set. It did immediately improve the readings... however the more I drove her the better she got. It took good 10 days to show all the improvement..
So it was the spark plugs.
that was back then.... now just three days ago I got the engine on from cold and bam... really ruf and misfiring... I heark some clicking sounds in the rear and I didnt know what it was.... untill I realise it was backfiring... so I think my opty gave up finally.
look for a new thread about it... this one should be closed...
I fixed my problem with new spark plugs.
