disable egr and smog pump?

disable egr and smog pump?
i have a 1996 Formula and i had MadZ28 tune it. I had him disable the egr and smog pump, my car seems a little slower now. Should i send it back sometime to turn those back on?

Make sure when you removed the egr that you dont have a vacuum leak. It shouldn't run any slower. I would check for leaks first.

i didn't remove the EGR valve, before i got it tuned i had a SES light for the egr vavle.

Maybe you have a real problem with the valve, itself. You might want to be sure it is not stuck open or something.
