Disable brake! light?

Is there anyway to disable the (BRAKE!) light? Accidently broke one of the connecters and now it won't go off.

You could pull the stop/hazard fuse #6 in the I/P block but only during the repair. I wouldn't do it as a temp. fix. Unless you need a new bumper.

Are you talking about the one in your raised spoiler? I have a z28 but just switched spoilers and there was a connector right before the wire routed itself through the spoiler im guessing if you disconnected that it should turn off. Im not positive but thats what i would guess. I had to take the plastic peice off of the trunk lid, on the inside and it gave me acess to it. If that dosent work just take the buld out that would do it. Good luck.

I mean the light on the dash, all the bulbs are working fine. One of the connecters to the ABS broke but I don't see any wires torn or pulled out.

Worse comes to worse you can get into the dash and unplug the bulb for the brake light.
