differences between N/A and all-motor
differences between N/A and all-motor
Ive been told that N/A includes all bolt-ons, h/c and N2O.
All-motor, as far as I know, is exactly that, all-motor. All bolt-ons, h/c, and thats it.
Can anyone correct me if Im wrong?

Re: differences between N/A and all-motor
It's my opinion (and understanding) that n/a means "naturally aspirated". That would not include nitrous because of all the extra oxygen introduced. So "n/a" and "all motor" are the same.
Re: differences between N/A and all-motor
i was informed that nitrous oxide was still 'naturally aspirating' the engine since all its doing is adding fuel/N2O to the naturally inducted air. maybe i was misinformed...
Re: differences between N/A and all-motor
exactly....it's the exact same thing. You'll probably hear more old-school hotrodders saying "all motor" and the new kiddos saying "naturally aspirated"...
Re: differences between N/A and all-motor
"N/A", to me, is speaking of 'naturally aspirated' induction. all-motor, to me, is just talking about the motor itself and has nothing to do with the induction. simply adding N2O and fuel to one's air induction, I was told, is still "N/A"
Re: differences between N/A and all-motor
I was under the impression that anything considered a "power adder" distinquished N/A or other. Supercharger,Turbocharger, OR Nitrous. H/C and any other engine specific "bolt-ons" would be considered N/A. The other three would not. Just my opinion though.
Re: differences between N/A and all-motor
well, the general concensus is, that n/a and all motor are the same thing. i see what you are saying but, everyone uses them both to mean the same thing.
