have a question. i have a 97 z28 and my friend has a 95 z28. we just put a bad azz 383 in his car and he has his left over motor and was going to give me his old heads. my question is will his 95 heads fit up with my 97 motor. i know that my compression is lower than his and my horsepower is higher, but i dont know where it comes from, the heads or the pistons. my plan was to port and polish his heads. the only reason im not messing with mine is because my heads are shooting out my spark plugs. the threads or something is messed up on them. but i was just wondering if his heads will work with the rest of my motor. please help.
