Difference between the Meziere and CSI wp?

Installing my new opti tuesday, so I was thinking about going ahead and putting in an electric WP... Now im already broke from buying another opti, and the Meziere is $200 and the CSI is $140. What are the major differences in these pumps?

Do a search. There's an excellent write up for the CSI install. CSI requires some grinding the Mez' doesn't.

Get a CSI. Meziere has been a nightmare for me and tons of other people.

Here's my Meziere after only 2 weeks of use:

Yep,
it was the heavy duty version too. (heavy duty my A_)
I had to pull it out, (my car was a daily driver back then) Priority Mail it to Meziere ($$$) and then wait a week without a car until they returned it to me. Their customer service SUCKED and it took posting here about the experience and the owner of Meziere replying to this thread to get it solutioned.
Needless to say, no Meziere for me EVER again.

Turned out to be a bad seal from the factory.
Me and my friend bought two at the same time and when I called him to tell him about my story, he tells me "Ion, that's funny, 'cuz mine died today too!".

Well my Mezeire died about a month ago after a year or so in the car. It was not turning with the key on and just for kicks I smacked it with a screwdriver and it started running again, so I replaced it with a spare I had and opened it up, cleaned it etc. Still looks ok the carbons are about 1/4 gone, but it looks like it can get about another year or so. They are well build but you have to ALLWAYS watch the temp guage, I made it a habbit.

The Meziere doesn't require grinding on the water pump, but you will have to cut the fan shrouds quite a bit. The CSI is shorter, but there are three notches you have to cut in the water pump seat. This can be done w/ a small file or Dremel though.

My CSI also feels lighter than my Meziere HD.

my CSI has been flawless for over a year and maybe 10k miles. the only downside is that you must grind on the stock wp housing like everyone has already mentioned but its really not that difficult. also i dont believe my CSI has a wheep hole in it like Ion showed on his mez. so it will never leak.

The weephole is there for a reason, when your bearing dies, the coolants flows past the bearing and out of the weephole, if the weephole isn't there then the coolant would go into the electronics and mess up the pump. Not good.
