Difference between 93-95 and 96-97 cat-back

I just bought a used Borla cat-back for $150, but it's for a 93-95 Camaro, and I have a 96. I figure I'll probably have to have a new pipe from the cat to the muffler made, but are the hangers in the same spots for all years. Or will I have to get new hangers welded too?

If you have stock manifolds and dual cat y-pipe, then I believe you will need to cut some of the intermediate pipe off of the new exhaust because the '96-'97 style is shorter (doesn't have the S-curve at the beginning like the '94-'95 style). You will probably also need to do a little fabrication for the exhaust hanger near the tranny bell housing; I did.

It should fit pretty well though.

The 96 ups had dual cats and the I pipe begins juat after the S to the driveshaft tunnel making the entry straight and a slip fit, the 95 down single cats were bolted to the back of the car and had an S entry into the Y pipe.
