Is there a difference between a 1995 Caprice Automatic Tranny and a reg. camaro 4l60e?

I don't think there is cause a guy I know bought one from a salvage yard and put it in his Z...works just like the other one...

 

The ONLY reason that I ask, is because I heard something in some remote post in some remote section by some remote person(enough with the remote shiat), that the tail ends are different. I need to know before I volunteer to help a friend of mind out. I hate to help people out then get into and look like an ***...

 

Yes that would definately suck....I'm almost positive the tranny itself is the same...now the housing may be a little different that is a question that I honestly can not answer...but I'll make a phone call for you and try to find out...
