Diesels after shutting off??

Diesels after shutting off??

When i turn the key off, the engine diesels down for a second. What would this indicate?

Running to low of octane gas..gotta get the expensive stuff..try that first.

What exactly makes it sputter like that after its turned off? I had an old 4.3 that did that and never did figure out why and i ran 89 octane in it.

Once i run better gas and if it doesnt help, whats the next step?

Yea run a tank of injector cleaner and start do premium. Thats what did it for me in my 96

Running 92 octane now and now different. Also ran seafoam through engine oil and gas. What else may help?

check the plugs for carbon.also, i saw this guy who had his electric fan hooked up to the + side of the ignition.when he would turn the car off, the spinning fan would make enough electricity to run the engine for a couple seconds!somthing else to check.
