Did you run cooler after an electric water pump?
well... that's variable.... with a 160* thermo... and reprogrammed fans it runs at 178 perfectly.. never get really any higher...
A Elec WP WILL make your car run cooler in typical city/stop & go driving.. but on the highway or long high RPM runs it may run the same if not a little hotter....
The Elec. WPs run a constant amount of coolent it never changes the rate except the thermo opening, thus with a 160 it's prettymuch always open.

I have experienced a slight temp increase in stop and go traffic and idling. Not really much to be concerned with. A Meizier WP flows a constant 35 gallons per minute. At idle I think the stock one flows somewhere around 10 gallons. At idle or stop and go traffic I think it pushes the coolant through the radiator a bit too fast which reduces the amount of time the coolant stays in the radiator for cooling.
I now run 168 - 170 with a 160 degree thermostat. Before the WP it was around 185 degrees so, yes, I saw a significant decrease.
Of course during extended idle periods it will increase until the fans come on.
