I got an engine off ebay and it was supposed to be a stock remanufactured lt1. it has dished pistons in it. Could they be correct? i really need to know

 

no the pistons are flat with valve reliefs in them

You can cite my book on rebuilding LT1/LT4 engines that says the piston shape is flat with four valve relief pockets. Its a guide for rebuilding the engines to stock specifications.
