just wondering how the spark plug access is on SLP 96/97 style shorties... i have SLP 94/95 style now and the spark plug access is pretty horrid plus they burn spark plug boots. Looking for an alternative, suggestions?? I'm willing to take a small performance hit if it improves my situation... i'd also like to be able to use the stock Y-pipe (2.5" Y-pipe isnt it? 2.5" -> 2.75")

thanks!

It sucks, I route my wires in the stock locations and don't have any probs with burning wires, but I just went with OTVC Wires from Elite in light of my Pacesetter purchase and they are very close to the wires. I'm glad I will be swapping headers as soon as I find time. If I were you I would get Macs if you want good plug access and a good header. I've heard nothing but good things about them. Prior to this I have always gone LT's so I have no experience with them personally. You won't be able to use the stock y-pipe, but I think that the headers come with one.

ceramic coating is worth it, right? helps keep under-hood temps down etc. reason i ask is because theres a ceramic coating place right near where i live and they only charge $200 to do it inside spray/outside coat
