Is the detent adjustable?

Is the detent adjustable?

Is the detent cable adjustable on the lt1 cars. Im sure it is i just dont know the procedure. I just put a bbk 52mm TB on it and it has messed my detent up a little. It wants to shift a little sooner when under normal load, but at WOT it still shifts at 6K.

A 97 doesn't have a detent cable; the only 4th gen that does is a '93. 94-newer all use the 4L60E.

Ok then what is the other cable besides the throttle cable. And y did it mess with my shift points. I didnt really think about it being electronically controlled, but now that u said that it is.

other cable next to the throttle is the cruise control
