descreened maf

if i descreen my maf, will it hurt the car in anyway and what are the gains invoved in this.

also is it a hard process to descreen the maf.

Please don't do anything to your poor MAF.
By messing with it, you will gain nothing but making it more inaccurate.

I would say its not worth it. Seems like the gains are minimul if any and you run the risk of royally screwing it up.

The gains are pretty trivial...seems like I read a 2 rwhp gain at the wheels but that could have been because any number of other factors...wait till you do some fairly major mods and buy a bigger one that wayyou dont have to worry about screwing up this one.
