DELTEQ users, Did you keep or take out Rotor?

If you took out the rotor , what did you use to keep the 2 metal plates for the Optical sensor down? Did you get a spacer?
If you kept it in , how long have you been running it this way?

I cut mine out after finding this web page.

http://teamprickracing.com/twinturbo..._opti/apgf.htm

I dont understand why anyone with a delteq or LTCC would leave it in if there going to access the opti.

I left it in, mainly because I was lazy and didnt want to risk breaking anything by removing the cap and rotor. Also, since the cap and rotor is sealed there is no danger of damaging the back portion of the opti from water, etc...

Same thing as cas0484. A little bit lazy but still, having it in there didn't hurt anyting. I've had mine in since mid March maybe early April (can't remember the exact time) and no problems yet.
